Wide-ranging program on tap for AMP piano recital

The final event of the American Music Project’s 10th anniversary season will be a piano recital by Emiko Edwards, 3 p.m. Sunday November 3 at Ganz Hall.

Edwards’ wide-ranging program will encompass Leon Kirchner’s Piano Sonata No. 1; Aaron Copland’s Piano Variations; William Grant Still’s A Deserted Plantation; George Rochberg’s Nach Bach; Leo Ornstein’s Evening’s Sorrow; Jennifer Higdon’s Notes of Gratitude; Paul Creston’s Six Preludes; and Meredith Monk’s Ellis Island
