Come to the first New York concert of the American Music Project 8 p.m. November 20 at Roulette! The JACK Quartet will be joined by Anthony McGill, principal clarinet of the New York Philharmonic, for the world premiere of Geoffrey Gordon’s Clarinet Quintet.

The program will also feature John Luther Adams’ haunting The Wind in High Places as well as two contrasted homegrown works of the 20th century: John Cage’s early Quartet in Four Parts and Earle Brown’s envelope-pushing String Quartet of 1965.
